This Urdu keyboard allows you to type in Urdu without installing any software. You can use your physical keyboard or click the on-screen keys. All text remains private and runs locally on your device.

Typing Tips

Here are some helpful tips for typing in Urdu:

• Urdu is written from right to left
• Use the Shift key to access additional characters and diacritical marks
• Common Urdu characters are mapped to their phonetic equivalents on the QWERTY keyboard
• Special ligatures and combined characters are available with certain key combinations
• Punctuation marks specific to Urdu (like ۔) are available on the keyboard
• You can copy and paste your text using the buttons in the top right corner
